British Accents Make Me Smile
In my world, it’s a well known fact that I am a huge fan of British accents. In fact, I’m such a fan that if I decide to have a kid, I will move to England for three years so my child will have one (That would be so sweet). But anyway, I really enjoyed watching The Queen in class on Monday. I’ve been meaning to see that movie for quite sometime. I think I may have been the only person who actually felt bad for the queen. Yes, in the movie she was very cold but she didn’t know any better. Poor woman was raised and was expected to rule in a way that was completely the opposite of what society became when Diana passed away. On a PR level, this movie showed how the field is constantly changing. Tony Blair was trying to encourage change and more effective and present day PR campaign , while the royal family was stuck in the old way of doing things (similar to that of new media). On a lighter note, I loved the Queen mum. haha She rocked, I wish she was still alive. I would take her home to Hamilton. Plus, Prince Charles was much more attractive in this movie than in real life. Very deceiving.
Side note: If someone can teach me how to speak with a British accent, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Way to stalk my LJ, Busacca. :-p I also love British accents! It’s quite hard to replicate, though, I think. You should come visit me and then you can pick it up from my housemates. I miss you!
